WHY WE RECOMMEND IT

Learn the ingredients, then bring the flavours together.

This afternoon connects everyday Chongqing market life with time in a working kitchen. Before you cook, you explore the ingredients behind local flavours, from Sichuan peppercorns to fermented rice. Back at the restaurant, the chef guides eligible guests through a complete three-course meal in English.

The team comes from an established Sichuan restaurant described in the supplied programme as having 13 years of experience. The tomato hotpot also offers a gentler introduction to Chongqing cooking for guests who do not enjoy very spicy food. Discuss dietary preferences and allergies before booking rather than assuming every recipe can be adapted.
