Chongqing makes more sense from the water.
The cruise is less about ticking off a boat ride and more about understanding the city’s scale. From the river, Chongqing’s steep terrain, stacked roads, illuminated buildings and bridges finally sit in one frame. The night sailing delivers the brightest version; daylight gives clearer architecture and a calmer view.
Before you board.
- Tickets are registered to each guest. Foreign visitors should bring the same passport used for booking.
- Your ticket is valid only for the confirmed date and sailing. Arrive at the pier before the confirmed boarding time.
- Children under 1.2 metres may travel free; children 1.2 metres or taller need a ticket. Each adult may accompany one free child.
- Departure times and the exact vessel are subject to that day’s operating schedule.
Hongyadong or Chaotianmen No. 7
Hongyadong Passenger Wharf is closer to Hongyadong. Chaotianmen No. 7 Wharf is farther to reach but generally uses newer vessels.
